CALIFORNIA — A state judge ordered a community college toproduce documents relating to a confidential 1999 discrimination settlementin March.
Judge Larry Gaddis ruled that Sierra Joint Community College in Rocklinmust release all documents to the public regarding the settlement, includingthe full amount paid by the college. The judge said the college had torelease the records under the state open-records law, despite the confidentialityprovision in the settlement agreement.
