SPLC director to teach press law workshops for high school advisers

SPLC Executive Director Mark Goodman will be teaching two college-credit classes on press law for high school publication advisers and journalism teachers this summer. The courses are intended for those active or prospective advisers who want to learn more about media law as it relates to high school publications and who are interested in receiving graduate credit for state certification or school advancement purposes.”High School Press Law” is the title of the 1 credit-hour class to be taught at the University of Iowa in Iowa City from Mon., June 16, through Wed., June 18.
