Staff members say they were not surprised when more than 4,500 copies of the Kentucky Kernel, the University of Kentucky’s student newspaper, came up missing from news stands Nov. 13.

School kills policy of blocking victims' names

The state attorney general squashed a short-lived policy created by the University of Kentucky to black out victims' names on police incident reports, saying it violated the state's open-records law.
