Molly Cooke is a sophomore at Georgetown University where she studies linguistics, journalism and economics. She writes news features for The Hoya, Georgetown’s oldest and largest student news publication, where she has previously served as a News Assistant and Head of the Student Government Beat. She is also active as the Corresponding Secretary for the Philodemic Society at Georgetown, one of the oldest collegiate literary debating societies in the United States. Her interests unsurprisingly include issues of free speech and women’s equity. A Pennsylvania native, she considers it a personal goal to prove that Philadelphia is superior to Washington, D.C.
