[su_header_text]Darlene Aderoju[/su_header_text]Darlene graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C. with a degree in journalism. As an intern, she’s covered education technology and policy issues for EdScoop and interned in the communications department of the Independent Community Bankers of America. She spent a semester on the staff of Howard University’s student publication The Hilltop. She aspires to continue working in digital journalism.[/su_column]

[su_header_text]Nashwa Bawab[/su_header_text]Nashwa is a junior majoring in journalism and Middle Eastern studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She’s held several campus newsroom roles at The Daily Texan and is currently the paper’s associate news editor. She’s interned at TRIBEZA, an Austin arts and culture magazine, in the communications department of the City of Fort Worth Water Department and volunteered as a mentor with Girl Advocates. She aspires to pursue investigative journalism.[/su_column][/su_row]

[su_header_text]Sunshine Cho[/su_header_text]Shine is a sophomore majoring in political science at the University of California San Diego. For three years she worked on her high school publication Tiger Newspaper which culminated in her leading the 36-person staff as editor-in-chief her senior year. She continued her interest in student journalism at UCSD and is now the managing editor for The Triton and a contributor at inewsource, an investigative reporting agency, and interned with the investigative unit of CBS News in Los Angeles.[/su_column]

[su_header_text]Sophie Gordon[/su_header_text]Sophie is a junior majoring in journalism at Ball State University in Indiana. She’s currently the Assistant Copy Editor of Ball State Daily News and has held other positions there. She’s also the press secretary for the Student Government Association. Throughout her time in college, she’s taken courses that have allowed her to work on a yearbook initiative and strengthen police and press relationships. An advocate for First Amendment rights, she aspires to pursue a career in media law.[/su_column]

[su_header_text]Sindhu Ravuri[/su_header_text]Sindhu is a sophomore majoring in media studies from the University of California Berkeley. At her San Jose high school, she founded a long form feature magazine Wingspan and was its editor-in-chief. During her first year of college, she began her work as a contributor to BioCoder Magazine, for which she is writing in-depth scientific features. This summer, she was a research analyst on technical education for the Govt. of NCT of Delhi in India, and volunteered in the summer of 2015 with a grassroots network to empower trafficking victims. Her interests include female empowerment, volunteering and activism.[/su_column][/su_row]
