How would this experience prepare you for the fellowship year?2) The goal of Active Voice is to empower teen girls to talk back when they’re silenced or when they feel intimidated from fully speaking up. Do you have a story about a time you felt silenced or intimidated from speaking up on something important to you? What did you do? What do you wish you would have done? What support would have helped? This doesn’t have to be related to student media. 3) What drew you to the Active Voice project?4) As part of the fellowship, you would design and carry out a “free speech service project” with the objective of supporting and inspiring young women to speak up on substantive issues they care about in their student media. What ideas do you have for a project? You don’t need a fully outlined plan and you can change your idea later, if selected for a fellowship. This is simply a space for some initial brainstorming. You may want to keep in mind the expense account budget is $1,000.5) What are your career aspirations after college?END OF COVER SHEET
