Colorado student suspended for online posting is back in school after threatened lawsuit

Highschool administrators lifted the suspension of a student in mid-February thatwas imposed after he posted critical comments about the school onMySpace.com.

Administrators at Littleton High School inLittleton, Colo., originally suspended junior Bryan Lopez for 15 days andconsidered an expulsion, but allowed him to return to school after the AmericanCivil Liberties Union took up his case and threatened to sue theschool.

MySpace.com is a social networking site that allowspeople to post personal profiles, share music and videos and maintain onlinejournals.
