Summer fellowship opportunity for college broadcast advisers and professors

The Radio and Television News Directors Foundation (RTNDF) is currently accepting applications from college broadcast professors and advisers for its 2001 Summer Excellence in Journalism Education Project. The project allows participants to spend four weeks working in a professional radio or television newsroom in summer, 2001 along with a pre-fellowship orientation in Washington, D.C., and a post-fellowship debriefing at the RTNDA convention in Nashville. Travel, housing and meal expenses are covered. Fellows are also paid $2,400.

The application deadline is February 15, 2001.
