No news in Kentucky State censorship case

The waiting continues. As of Dec. 21, the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals had still not issued a decision in the Kentucky State University yearbook and newspaper censorship case. While the court has no deadlines, many had expected the decision to be handed down in September or October.

The case, which could have a profound effect on the First Amendment rights of college journalists, is being closely watched by college student media nationwide.
