Networks to report on campus crime, speech issues

The cable television channel A&E‘s news driven documentary seriesInvestigativeReportswill focus on crime reporting by the nation’s colleges and universitiesWednesday, March 22, in an episode titled, “Campus Insecurity.”

The episode, scheduled to air at 9 p.m. EST, will explore how collegestudents are put at risk when universities underreport, ignore or coverup crimes on campus and circumvent the laws that require them to publishtheir campus crime statistics.

ABC News will air a special, one-hour program Thursday, March23 at 10 p.m. EST, titled, “You Can’t Say That! What Ever Happened to FreeSpeech with John Stossel.” The program will focus on free-speech issues,including campus speech controversies.
