\nA few loyal Report readers may realize that this season\nmarks a significant anniversary for the Student Press Law Center.\nIn the winter of 1974, the SPLC began providing legal assistance\nand information to the student press. For 25 years, we have been\ndoing just that, now as frequently to online publications via\ne-mail as to the print media via a phone call.
Our longevity has been the result of both the growing need\nfor our services and the support of many individuals and organizations\nwho believe in our work. We offer our thanks to our supporters\nand recommit our efforts to those in need.\n
