MASSACHUSETTS — A 15-year old student at Athol-Royalston Regional High School, who maintained a private home page satirizing several of his peers and some teachers, was ordered by school officials to remove the material from his page in March.School officials became aware of the material when a fellow student noticed the web site, printed it out and showed it to the public school’s principal. The principal in turn placed the student on an indefinite suspension from school for “inappropriate behavior.”Though the parents of the student said they were shocked at their son’s suspension, they told him to remove the web page, which he did several days after the suspension.
